Early January 2009 began with plenty of snow, and ski resorts around the area were doing a booming business. At Kingswood Village, snowmen and snowball fights were the order of the day. A nice little toboggan run (with a deadly bump/jump in the middle) had been created near the steps leading to the bridge that crosses the small creek on the property.
A warm Sunday afternoon called for a walk along the shore of Lake Tahoe, and the icescapes along the side of the lake were spectacular, as was the gaggle of large Canadian Geese.
The new deck furniture looks nice, and worked well when we needed a few extra seats at the table.
